Autumn's "other" Bio (you know, the real stuff)
I grew up in a big family, I am one of 8 kids and was homeschooled most of my life... it was a *bit* of a sheltered life but I learned lots of great skills that sure helped me transition into momhood! I had a real encounter with Jesus at age 11 when I was filled with the holy spirit and I had many more as a teenager attending summer camps.
I was so hungry for God that at 17 I decided bible school was the place for me. I spent 3 years in a small school located in the Adirondacks of NY growing up in God and in life. I had many amazing times in Gods presence including one whole summer I spent learning to minister to the Lord while I played the piano "facing the wall".
I moved on from bible school into full time ministry where I spent 5 years traveling ministering, organizing events and products, discipling interns and organizing community life. It was the best of times and the most challenging of times! I grew big time AND THEN... the best thing happened! I met my husband and fell head over heels in love! We were married shortly after. haha.
2 years into marriage we had Ethan Isaac our first son. Transition to motherhood was a beautiful and natural thing for me. And good thing!! because soon enough we had Jace Ryan our second son and 16 months later, our first daughter Ava Joy was born (our children were born in a 31/2 year span).
We have church planted, led lots of worship, travelled overseas & in the US, moved, nursed babies (well I did that) finished college, released 2 CDs and enjoyed every step of the way !
I am a stay at home mom who is passionate about training my kids to manage themselves as God created them and learn to steward the gifts inside them. I adore my husband who has grown into an amazing business leader and has a deep gift in the word of God. I lead worship and am passionate to see God's presence move in a real way. I don't have time for the flaky stuff. I always strive to keep it real. I like to have fun and laugh and enjoy the gift of life with the people around me. I chose to look at the gold and the goodness and press in until it comes to fruition. I love to cook and entertain. I love coffee in the morning. I don't like shopping and have to take someone with me so I stay focused. Sometimes I get all worked up in my head about silly things but I work it out :).
